Research Summary
My research focuses on developing and validating translational biomarkers and biologic therapeutics for neurological and neurodegenerative disorders. Current projects include:
- Expanding on the utilities of FDA-cleared traumatic brain injury biomarker tandem (GFAP | UCH-L1) discovered and developed by Dr. Wang.
- Advancing the second generation of brain injury circulating biomarkers.
- Biologic drug development for traumatic brain injury, brain tumor and neurodegeneration.
- Brain penetrating AEGISbodies and aptamers for CNS-disease relevant protein targets.
- RNome studies in CNS diseases
